Life Coaching

Life Coaching is a process that aims to improve performance and focuses on the ‘here and now’ rather than on the distant past or future. Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them. A Life Coach is someone that looks to empower others by helping them make, meet, and exceed goals in both their personal and professional lives.

Good coaches believe that the individual always has the answer to their own problems but understands that they may need help to find the answer. Life Coaching revolves around three grounding principles:

1. Guidance – the life coach provides the tools and support for someone to feel safe and broaden their perspective to discern for themselves and make decisions based one what is healthy and beneficial for them and those around them.

2. Empowerment - the life coach reveals depths of the individual for them to start finding their self-worth and belief again.
